New Volunteer Opportunity: Pantry Distribution Volunteers

The LSS Food Pantries are coming to westside community centers, and volunteers are needed to help our clients access food.

How volunteers will help:

  • Help set up and tear down pantry distributions
  • Help check in clients
  • Help assemble client food orders
  • Help clients shop for perishable food items

Who should volunteer:

  • Individuals and groups of up to 15 people (age 12 and older)
  • Availability between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays
  • Some volunteers will need to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Some volunteers will need basic computer skills
  • All volunteers will need a compassionate heart and desire to help others!

Dodge Community Center, 667 Sullivant Ave., Columbus, OH 43215

Mondays (starting February 19)

 

Westgate Community Center, 455 S. Westgate Ave., Columbus, OH 43204

Wednesdays (starting February 21)

 

Glenwood Community Center, 1925 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43223

Fridays (starting February 23)
