We put together quilts for Lutheran World Relief on the first and third Thursday’s at 9:00 a.m. They are used to shield against cold and rain, for warm bedding, to use as a tent or divide a room, or to wrap a baby on a mother’s back. They are shipped around the world to those affected by disasters, economic instability and to comfort families fleeing conflict or living in refugee camps.
We gladly accept fabric for tops and backs and used sheets for quilt middles. We will ship over 180 quilts this October.
