Dear Children of God,Our Lenten journey is drawing to an end. On Ash Wednesday (Feb. 26) we had no idea that the route would include being apart from one another beginning on March 15th. Nevertheless, we have been led to the cross of Jesus which is right where we need to be. The following is from a Good Friday Liturgy:
Behold, the life-giving cross on which was hung the salvation of the whole world.
Oh, come, let us worship him.
We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you.
By your holy cross, you have redeemed the world.
May God be merciful to us and bless us, show us the light of his countenance, and come to us.
Let your ways be known upon the earth, your saving health among all nations.
Let all the people praise you, O God; let all the people praise you.
We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you. By your holy cross, you have redeemed the world.
Please find attached pictures of two St Paul bulletin boards courtesy of Vickie Schlosser and Jennifer Hamm which are especially meaningful today.
