CONVERSATION STARTERS Over the next few weeks we will be sharing some fun and innovative ways for us to spark conversation during worship. One of these ways is by wearing name tags to help us better identify one another with masks on as well as being more welcoming to visitors. Also we will begin handing out note-cards each week that you can write me a question on and drop in the offering. I will then answer these questions over the coming weeks. Lastly, we will begin sign ups for what we are calling coffee chats. These will happen after worship and will serve as a time for us all to socialize in a safe manner. Stay Tuned!COVID ADVISORY Please be advised that Franklin County is now in a level purple for Covid-19. Turning purple, or reaching Level 4, indicates “severe exposure and spread” on the state’s public advisory map. Although the council has decided to not close in person worship at this time, Please know that we support you in doing what is best for your health and the health of others. |
A Midweek MessageApril 21, 2021 Hello Everyone at St Paul,Can you believe that it is snowing this week? Perhaps even harder to believe it is still Easter! That’s right we are still in the Easter season and that is something to celebrate. Hope you have a good rest of your week. Blessings In peace,Rev. Aaron Baughman (interim pastor)A Midweek Message for 4/22/2021This Sunday we focus on Jesus as our shepherd and only Jesus. One conclusion that I have come to in my ministry is that it is important to recognize that there is only one shepherd in our lives. Often other leaders, church members, and even pastor’s claim to be a shepherd of others but this is to dismiss the importance of Jesus as our Shepherd. Jesus is not only our shepherd but he is the Good Shepherd that will do whatever it takes to care for his sheep. So remember there is only one Shepherd for us to follow, and that we should keep our gaze focused on him, that is Jesus Christ. Amen Rev Aaron Baughman (interim pastor) |
